Remember the other day I showed you this kit?
Welcome to the reveal!
Amy at Amybeads put these awesome kits together and because she is just that awesome we snatched them up as quick as we could. (well if you remember I missed it but yep she is awesome and put one together for me....MWAH! girlfriend!) I love Amy. She is funny, sweet, and we are sister beaders for sure. It seems whenever we do a similar project we have the same opinions and the same issues. She has been a huge part of my journey and I wouldn't have had it any other way. You are a Rockstar girlfriend Amy!
So this is what happened on the way to this reveal. I love the colors and that little bird is so cute it was easy to stare at the kit. Then WOW I had beads that would match so I pulled them out too. Then well I needed to start and hadn't quite found a "YES" moment. Another one of my awesome friends was working with magatamas ( which in case you all don't know.....I haven't quite found a way to like them yet) So hey I need to help my friend so yep I pulled them out. Well for some reason all the beads were having a conversation and my fingers seemed to be listening. I still wasn't sure what this would look like in the end but I am pretty sure I like it.
So one of the other challenges Amy set for us was to use more that 50 of the kit. The necklace uses the cute little peanut beads, the delica's, and one of the gorgeous roundels but it just wouldn't let me use the other yummies. Hummmmmm what to do....Yep since I am totally into sets I need a bracelet. You know what? I used to think in bracelet form first but............it's all Dawn's fault!!!! Anyway I had enough of the roundels to make these 3 components but everything I have tried just hasn't worked!
I may just have to sit on these a bit till something sparks.
Once again Thank you AMY!!!!!
Please visit everyone and give them big cyber hugs!
