When Amy at Copper Diem posted that she wanted to do a "Cocktail Hour" blog hop I knew this one was for me! So I jumped at the chance. I waited to find out what my cocktail would be........Champagne Cocktail! I know Amy has read my blog and I wonder if she so remembers all of my Tipsy Beading posts. I love me some Mimosa's. And since you all know I have a love for orange you would think that would be the way I went huh? Nope! A very very sweet friend sent me some luscious cherry quartz stones and some spectacular sparkling seed beads that just begged to be made into Champagne deliciousness. But what recipe? I went searching and found this awesome site "Wineintro" dedicated to all the goodness of Wine recipes including a huge Champagne page! This is the recipe I choose and I will totally be making it very soon!
"Perfect for a summer day, for a tropical vacation, or for anytime that you want to bring the bright fun of summer into your life!"
1/2 shot creme de fraise (strawberry liqueur)
1 shot pineapple juice
Champagne
So I began. I have been playing with stitches a bit for a while so I thought I would just go with the flow of the needle. I really think it works although as you can see this is not completed. I actually ran out of the creamy beads I am using for bubbles! I so want this necklace completed because I also think is goes perfectly with the "Blush" bracelet you also see in the photo. I promise as soon as I am able to shop I will finish this!
Please check out everyone creations and get a hankerin for your favorite cocktail!
