Oh I am so going down hill as I am writing this post. I have a cold (again) so does the rest of the family. Also as I am writing this I am still working on finishing my necklace that you will hopefully have a picture of by the time this post goes live.
Welcome to the Echo Creative Club Blog Hop!
This month Jeannie actually sent me both my September and October pieces and said I could choose which one to reveal. It took me a while to decide which I would choose because they are both equally as awesome. I finally choose this gorgeous sand dollar pendant.
Well I have to tell you why it took me so long to pick. The beads stopped talking to me for a small span of time. Whether I had just overwhelmed myself with "work" (I call it that but we all know playing with beads is a passion) or that too many were trying to talk at the same time. I have had this bracelet for a while without a necklace to match and then it hit me.
The sand turned gold in the sand and the sweet treasure you see in the tiny white foam left over from the waves. I know that there is a bit more brown in the pendant but I still like my "Golden Treasure"
Well my friends please stop over to see the rest of the ECC reveals today. I love this hop and I am hoping I can sit up long enough to check it all out in the morning. Thank you again Jeannie. It is not only a pleasure to work with your art it is a privilege that I love.

Hi Kristen,
ReplyDeleteI hope you are feeling a bit better I know how zapping a cold can be especially when you are also taking care of little ones that are sick too. Your necklace is gorgeous and goes so well with the bracelet. Now you just have to make a pair of earrings then you have a full set.
Therese
It turned out beautifully. Love everything about it.
ReplyDeleteHope you and your family get over those colds real soon. Take care, get lots of rest and drink lots of orange juice. :)
It is really a great choice of rope for the pendant, my friend. I love how it echoes (no pun intended) the easy colors and style of the pendant. :)
ReplyDeleteeeeeeeeegadssssssss. I don't know what stitch that is on the necklace rope, but it's perfect with the sand dollar. The bracelet and the necklace are a perfect ensemble. Kristen it is for sure a sweet, golden treasure.
