Yep It is one of my favorite blog posting times. I have chosen my July ECC pendant I plan to work with. Finally right? Jeannie is always ever so patient with me. I have a very hard time choosing from her amazing creations! Oh and you can get you some too if you pop over to Jewelry By Jeannie. She is having a 20% off sale!!! And wait till you see her new creations!
So here is what I picked for this month.
There are 2 reasons I picked this amazing leaf. First because it kept saying "pick me" then a horrible thing happened on a wonderful trip to Niagara Falls this past weekend, I lost this necklace.
I am really sick about it. I loved it so much. So when this leaf kept telling me to pick it I knew I had so many similar colors to create a beautiful necklace that will remind me of the one I lost.
Here is the beads I have chosen so far.
Oh and did I say May's ECC Reveal. Why yes I did. Back in May I had some carpel tunnel flair up and was unable to finish what I had started. Then something happened when I was able to get back to it so I ended up ripping out what I had completed and started all over again. Here is the bead I choose to work with.
And here is the necklace that I ended up creating. You all know I really love me a Russian Spiral rope but you need to change it up a bit to keep it interesting right. This one has (are you sitting down?) no, yes that is what I said NO 15/0's. Can you believe it? I used only 11/0's. I love the flow and colors of this.
As always Jeannie my sweet friend you have graced me with the ability to work with such beautiful artistry and as always you know I can never thank you enough!
Hugs and Blessings

Oh Kristen,
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry to hear that you lost your beautiful necklace. I know you are heartbroken. I am looking forward to seeing how the leaf pendant turns out. I love the cherry blossom necklace it is gorgeous! If you really want to get wild try 8's and 11's in your Russian spiral!

Just beautiful Kristen! The colors in the rope suit the focal so well. I <3 it. Sorry about the loss of your other necklace. That would have been a wrench :-(
