AJE Component of the Month Reveal - A Bloomin' good time!!!

Lets just begin with the awesomeness Lesley of Thea Elements created for this months Component of the Month.

See why we were all so excited?  Actually I have to say I am excited every month to see what these amazing artists have in store for us.  Getting to work with such an amazing group of women and their artistic gifts is really such a blessing but this month it is all about Lesley so here we go!!!

When I received what she has called "Seed Pod" I was in awe.  The detail all over the piece is amazing.  When she first posted them I thought I would attempt to bead a large beaded bead but when it came I just couldn't see how I could not showcase the whole piece.  You need to see the top and all the beauty it holds as well as the sides.  This posed a real challenge.  I had to let this gorgeous pod sit on my tray and let me know what I was supposed to do.  I was getting rather nervous.  With a week left to go.....nothing.  So I picked up the pod and took it up to my studio.  Oh I didn't tell you I now have a studio.  I will have to blog about that later.  So we went and visited the seeds and there they were.  The most gorgeous intense color of gold lustered raspberry (11-331) from one of my favorite shops The Hole Bead Shoppe!  They were darker but the gold luster and rainbow effect were perfect! The as usual it hit me!  I need to make this a flower pendant.  I knew just were to go!  I have a beautiful pattern from Beads by Becs that would work perfectly!!!

I love it when the inspiration strikes because the beading seems to just flow from my fingers and Becs pattern gave me opportunity to change it up.  So with all this chatting you are wondering when I am going to show you right?  Ha I have to first tell you that because I was having so much fun I only had time to make the pendant. The chain will be finished very soon because I can not wait to wear this piece!!!

So what do you think?  Did I make it so you can see all the awesomeness?
Here are all the friends that participated!!!
