Well it is about time right? Pattern Review time!!!

This pattern has been waiting to be reviewed for so long!  I am pleased that I have finally had time to review it!

I know most of you have heard of Good Quill Hunting, but if you haven't let me tell you a bit about Chris, the extremely sweet and gifted designer behind the name.

This is the second one of Chris's patterns I have reviewed and I have to tell you a little story first.  She was having a sale a while back and I had come into some tutorial buying money (which rarely happens when there is a sale) and was trying to decide what to get.  Well she was also working on a new design that would not be included in the sale so I decided to wait and see what she designed.

This is the pattern called Hele....

Yeah I had to get this one. I know I had been waiting for a long time for a different one but this just spoke to me and I knew I would actually get it done because of my excitement for it.  Now Chris's patterns are awesome.  The diagrams are spot on and it is so easy to see her thread paths.  I really love when a designer can either clearly show thread paths with pictures or diagrams.  I find that if those are not present even with the best written instructions I am at a loss.  And with that yes her written instructions are so well matched to the diagrams.  I also love that she likes to experiment using the newest beads.
She has many twin,

spike,

tila,

and now checkmate's

and rulla's.

She really sparks creativity and the ability to use her teaching to play on your own.  For that I am also truly grateful.

Here is my version of Hele...

There is another reason I am telling you about this today too.  Her birthday is coming and she is celebrating with a 25% off sale.  So run over there right now and pick up one or two and wish her a Happy Birthday in the memo section!!!!

Hugs Always,
KK
