I know I haven't been around lately and I am sorry about that. There have been sicknesses and drama floating around my home and mind for this entire month. I don't know what it is. I have a good life with great kids and an amazing husband so why is it that the forces outside of this what to keep throwing crap at me or my family. So I have been quiet. I have sat here a number of times to start a post but either I have just been too sick to think straight (yep I had strep, sinus infection and inflamed vocal cords) or the phone rings with something new for me to worry about. Speaking of that the phone just rang. So I am not going to whine or rant I just wanted to let you know I am still here (for those of you that still follow...LOL)
So my tray has been full....
I have to tell you about a couple of beauties on my tray.
First there is my April Echo Creative Club yummy for this month.
Don't you just love her packaging! |
Jeannie's creations are so beautiful to me. I have played with polymer clay and I still have no idea how she can make it so amazing. This is one of her Cherry Blossoms in butterscotch. I am soo over the top thrilled with this. I hope my vision will do her justice. Really if you have the budget please get one for yourself....you totally won't regret it.
Here is the Spring Fling challenge kit I got from Amy at Amybeads. I love love love this woman. We have been friends almost since the beginning of this awesome journey and I am so lucky. So of course when she put this kit out ( I actually missed that post because of the new Blogger format ) I messaged her that I totally needed to be part of it. All this kits were pretty much gone but she sweetly gathered some yummys up for me and I snatched it up as quick as possible. I have gone on a journey of new explorations with it so I hope it also turns out to honor her and her friendship.
And last but not least at all I received theses gorgeous cabs from Lyn Owen at Silvermoonlyn. They came all the way from Queensland! Yep they are orange! You know I am in totally love with them! So I have a few ideas poppin around in my head to make these into a treasured creation for me.
Oh and I was told that I should brag a bit. Not good at bragging but here it goes. I had a necklace published in Beadwork. The "what our readers did" section along with 2 of my awesome Beading Babes friends. Karyn at Releases by Rufydoof did a sweet post about it so I want you to check out what she wrote! If not for her this would not have happened and for that once again I am forever grateful.
Yep that is my "Turtle's Paradise" Necklace in the upper right! |
So that is about it for now. I did mention that I have had trouble with the new Blogger layout right. I have missed alot of posts and I am sorry for that. I will try to get over my complete aversion to it and get back on the ball...K?
Hugs and Blessings
