I am playing along with
Art Jewelry Elements to show where we started. WOW do I really want to go there? Well after this glorious weekend of Camping combined with BeadFest...yes I totally do.
Here are some pictures of what I created in the very beginning.
Wow not only has my picture taking gotten so much better so has my beading. I looked back on my first
post and believe it or not my friends I just realized it has been 3 years since I started my seed bead journey. Here is how I have grown in the last year alone.

So much has happened since then and I have so many new friends and supporters that I know I would have never ever gotten this far if not for all of you. Your support, giveaways and just over the top generosity has given me more than words can ever express. Thank you!
I will be posting in the next few days of what BeadFest was like and the
Echo Creative Club is also coming up. Many many changes are happening that I can not wait to share with all of you!
Hugs and Blessings

Hi Kristen,
ReplyDeleteEven in the very beginning you were pretty good with what you made. I do not have picture of my very first pieces I did not know to take pictures of my pieces then. I agree with your last statement. Blogging has brought me together with far more people then I ever would have met in my ordinary life. So glad we met through the blogs I have learned a thing or two from you.

Meeting fellow beaders and nurturing new friendships has been one of my favorite things about blogging - I never in a million years would have thought that I'd make so many friends - and I'm lucky to count you as one of them!!! (oh -and beautiful beadwork btw!!!)
ReplyDeleteYou are right! Lots of growth creatively, lots of friends. This is all just awesome!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it funny how the photography gets better with the pieces? Although, your first pieces look pretty amazing to me. I could never do any of that without slitting my wrists or something. Thanks for playing along, this is really fun!
ReplyDeleteI think a lot of the improvements in our photography has to do with the cameras... When I started glass in 88 I took slides by the time you got those back the pieces were gone!
ReplyDeleteThe 2 blue pieces close to the bottom are lovely!
Gyönyörű munkák !!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI've always been in awe of artists who could work with those tiny seed beads! Your work is beautiful and I can see the progression in your designs, color palette, and photography.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your journey with us!
You know me...love your work girl :)
ReplyDeleteIsn't fun to see where you started and where you are now. Just wait and see where you have grown by this time next year! I am serious love with the third image from the bottom (Echo Creative Club - AWESOME!)
Wow! Your expertize and style, both have evolved into something really classy and exquisite!
ReplyDeleteWonderful! What fun to see your creative journey!!
ReplyDeleteWonderful post! And great to see how you've evolved with your beadwork - but I must say that even your early work was amazing :)
ReplyDeleteI linked to your first post, Kristen, and it was great to read how enthusiastic you were. And you still sound just as excited today! Thanks for sharing your beady history and reflections with us. Love the gorgeous pieces, too!
ReplyDeleteWOW! Your work is exquisite! I always admire anyone for can work with seed beads!
ReplyDeleteEach time I look at one of these blog entries, I see the early photos and think the pieces look pretty darn good to me! Yours was certainly that way. Then moving ahead, I can see the dramatic improvement! Quite impressive!
ReplyDeleteI love where you've gone with your seed bead work!
