Bead Soup Blog Party Reveal......Well maybe

This is my first ever time joining the Bead Soup Blog Party.  So much fun getting to know my partner and choose and make things to send to her.
Do you remember this amazing soup my blog partner Denise sent me?
I totally love this soup.

All the beautiful colors and ideas that it sparked were not only amazing but I learned a few lessons along the way.

What ideas didn't work,

What ideas started to work,

What ideas I love!

Unfortunately this house has been riddled with sickness all this month and this is as far as I have gotten.  I did think I would have at least the necklace with her beautiful etched pendant done but my sweet son got the puck bug and that has taken all my extra time disinfecting and doing laundry AND you know what...square stitch takes FOREVER!  I love it and am learning alot in working it though.  Thank you so much to Lori and Denise and I am so sorry I was not able to live up to my part of the bargain this time.  I can not wait to see what Denise has done with the soup I sent her!  Have fun hoppin!

  1. Kristen,
I love the curly cue aqua blue strand - that looks like it is going to be so cool. And the seed beads you picked for the pink pendant look they match it perfectly. I can't imagine how long it takes you to do these. Hope everyone in your house is starting to feel better!

  26. Girl - I feel you. I thought I was reading my own post about my Bead Soup this time around. I can't BELIEVE how many designs I have started and stopped for this one! Anyway - it at least inspired me to create a post for the A-Z challenge for the letter D - regarding 'design'! I do not know if I will be ready this weekend for my reveal! :)
But - your pieces are looking wonderful and I know they will be fabulous when you are done. I hope your family is on the mend!!
