AJE June (oh yeah and May) Component of the Month reveal!!

I really didn't mean for this post to be so late today.  I have been doing so much catching up on finishing my creations that I totally forgot to make sure this was no longer in draft!  Duh!  Umm and oh yeah I totally slept in this morning too!

I am so proud of myself this month that I have actually finished my wonderful COM piece and written this before the reveal date!!  It has been so crazy around here with health issues and beginning of summer that I have just been feeling a bit on the insignificant side lately.  I was so happy to finally be inspired by Jenny's charm pairs.  And if any of you know me you will be totally surprised by what I created!

These are what Jenny choose for us this month and I have to tell you the yellow ones just popped of the page when I saw them.

I have been in a summery mood (sort of) lately that it was easy to come up with the colors.  You know it seems kind of strange to me that when I am in a depressive state I seem to choose bright colors when I am creating and when I am not I really tend to like the darker side.  I know it's the other way around for most people.  I know I am a freak.  I can admit it freely.  So look at these.......

Hah I concurred creating earrings!  I do however have to ask you if you see the problem in the picture.......Yep I only have one ear wire.  I know I put them somewhere in pairs but this is the only one I could find...hence my aversion to anything with wire I hid them on myself!  I hope Jenny likes them..

I did say I was also showing you Mays Com didn't I!

I have to tell you I loved Sue's bead so much I was so upset when I could not come up with the did with the design I wanted that I totally considered sleeping with it under my pillow.  But as luck would have it I stumbled across the perfect twins and then it all came together.  I used a pattern from my friend Sherry of Beadstalkers

I just loved her use of twins in this design that it screamed to be used with Sue's bead.

I hope Sue really likes how I used her bead and frankly I need to get me some more of them!!!
Please hop around to see what everyone else has created.

  3. Oh gosh, I LOVE both of these! When I saw your earrings, I thought the ceramic swirls looked like the curlicue at the top of a soft-ice cream cone! It must be wishful thinking, cuz it is so hot here today! Both of your designs are truly gorgeous!

  5. Kristen, beautiful as always. I really love those pretty yellow beads that you chose for your earrings and also adore what you did with those beads. The turquoise blue looks amazing with that wonderful sunshine yellow.

  6. How could I NOT like those? But I need to know - do you have Bionic eyes? Because I know how small my charms were and them you beaded around them? Wow.

I love the colds, I love the texture the weaving adds to the simple glaze finish. Awesome!
